Title

 : Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director

Responsible to

 : Executive Director

Responsibilities

 : Provides administrative support, such as maintaining organizational files, calendars, and schedules, coordinating meetings, editing and preparing newsletters, brochures, proposals, and basic reports, researching information, and providing related support. Preparing handbooks and training materials.
Assists with tracking budgets and preparing related financial reports. Prepares annual report. Collects monies, issues receipts, and balances monies received.
Provides support by answering phone and researching and/or providing information to the public.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level

Minimum Qualifications

 : Demonstrated professionalism and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with volunteers, board members, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Maintain confidentiality.

Title

 : Volunteer Coordinator & Team

Responsible to

 : Executive Director

Responsibilities

 : Coordinates Volunteer Program.
Develops and maintains handbook of applicable policies and procedures.
Continuously recruits volunteers.
Schedules and co-facilitates orientation.
Schedules ongoing volunteer training.
Supervises & evaluates performance of volunteers.
Coordinate interviews of potential volunteers.
Manages application process and checks references.
Coordinate volunteer meetings.
Coordinate recognition activities.
Conduct annual evaluations and surveys.
Maintain volunteer database.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level

Minimum Qualifications

 : Demonstrated professionalism and team leadership skills.
Demonstrated problem-solving & decision making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Title

 : Mentor Program Coordinator & Team

Responsible to

Responsibilities

 : Supervise Facilitators to ensure frequency and effectiveness of contact.
Coordinate Mentor contact reports.
Act as liaison/point of contact for parents.
Assist in designing, scheduling, and implementing mentor training.
Screen potential Mentors.
Provide resource material to Mentors and families.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Experience working with teens (Not Necessary).
Knowledge of adolescent development.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Ability to write clearly.
Knowledge of family and community resources.
Excellent organizational skills.

Title

 : Mentor

Responsible to

 : Mentor Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

 : Establish trusting relationships with girls generally one-to-one to enhance their positive development in interpersonal relationships, life skills, and competency development.
Facilitate learning modules for group sessions designed to develop important life skills. Topics include self-esteem/image; peer pressure, pop culture, health & wellness, pregnancy prevention, and goal-setting. Mentors receive specific training and facilitation outlines for each module.
Participate in occasional mentor in-service training.
Track time and nature of contact with mentee. Submit contact log to Mentor Program Coordinator in a timely manner.
Maintain communication with parents/guardians throughout mentoring relationship.
Work with Mentor Program Coordinator to identify and recommend additional community resources to aid in girl’s healthy growth and development.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Desire and commitment to duration of mentor program.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Pass nationwide background check.

Time Commitment

 : 1-2 hours/week, minimum 8 month mentor assignment

Title

 : Marketing Coordinator & Team

Responsible to

 : Executive Director

Responsibilities

 : Develop and execute strategy to promote I AM Blossoms locally and nationally.
Monitor trends that may ultimately affect I AM Blossoms, make recommendations to enhance I AM Blossoms image.
Design monthly newsletter.
Update website and create internet marketing campaigns.
Take pictures & video at events and activities.
Coordinate all print, radio, church, and television media for events, activities and promotions.
Assist in writing and distributing press releases, media kits and articles.
Design program yearbook/scrap book & calendar.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Excellent creative writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, word processing & database applications.
Demonstrated ability to communicate persuasively, both orally and in writing.
Must be highly motivated, able to work independently.

Title

 : Resource Development Coordinator & Team

Responsible to

 : Executive Director

Responsibilities

 : Create numerous, efficient, and compelling opportunities for donors to support I AM Blossoms and to make the experience of giving satisfying and rewarding. Manage fundraising activities by developing funding targets and identifying potential donors. Develop calendars and action plans for annual fund campaigns via membership, grants, and special events. Assist Board of Directors and Executive Director in planning and executing solicitation activities. Develop campaign summaries and management reports. Monitor campaign results by activity on an ongoing basis by communicating with volunteer committees. Establish benefits, recognition, acknowledgements and incentives for donors to maintain relations.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Knowledge of basic skills of fund-raising management.
Superior organization and communication skills.
Donor and Stakeholder service mentality.
Analytical capabilities.
Flexible, persistent, attentive to detail.

Research, evaluate, make recommendations for program improvement and expansion Develop a team of volunteers to support program. Track and inform Executive Directors of program outcomes. Occasionally facilitate learning activities Secure guest speakers.

 : Work collaboratively with Program Coordinator to develop and deliver appropriate learning activities, workshops, service learning projects, etc. Plan instructional methods and materials Research, evaluate, make recommendations for program improvement and expansion.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
Ability to use effective questioning techniques.
Ability to create a comfortable learning environment, including preparing the training room, greeting and engaging youth, and attending to their social, emotional and comfort needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with volunteers, board members, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Assistant Design and develop training curriculum by conducting related research. Develop training materials such as workbooks, icebreakers, team building activities.
Resource Development
Assistant Gather information required to write grant applications; Conduct donors and prospects research.Assist Resource Development Team.

Minimum Qualifications

Responsible to

 : Camp Director

Responsibilities

 : Insure the safety of each youth participating in the camp. Manage and communicate emergency procedures and comfortably respond to situations in a professional and calm demeanor. Coordinate camp resources to include materials and guest speakers. Ensure facility maintenance Works as a valuable team member with others in planning and organizing camp activities. Available each day to lead camp activities. Arrives on site on time. Maintains a commitment to the success of the camp. Follows procedures. Actively participate in pre-camp training and planning meetings Directs and instructs group learning activities. Cultivates learning and a spirit of cooperation among the young women. Promotes constructive discussion processing the girl’s experiences in order to integrate what has been learned.

Minimum Qualifications

 : Strong communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively on a team.
Deals calmly and effectively with children.

Educational Requirement

 : Must attend and receive certification from Camp Blossoms Facilitator Training.
Certification and training in First Aid & CPR preferred.

Time Commitment

 : June 7 six-hr certification
June 8 – three-hr set up
June 9 – 13 daily 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Pay Rate

 : $300 Stipend at end of camp
